“I’ll admit, I’ve been slacking on the inbox submissions as of late. I won’t get into the excuses, but I did get in there last night and ran into this track from Madoa, 1/2 of The Drop Squad that I was really feeling a lot. Felt good to have a song “grab” me like that again from an artist that I really didn’t know much about. One of the reasons I still keep blogging. Madoa is currently working on a solo project titled Witt which should make the wait less harsh. Nice production found on this cut, kind of a lazy (good lazy), swinging mello type of feel to it. Modoa compliments the music nicely.
It’s a track that could be one of my favorites of the year…“City Lights (Raleigh Tribute)” produced by Ready Rock Productions http://thedropsquad.bandcamp.com/”
